Branding Choices:
Different print methods are used for different substrates - sometimes there is a choice depending on the print effect required. We will always guide you to the most effective process for your logo - a brief description and illustration is below.
Foil Blocking:
Printing an image using heat and a metal block to transfer foil onto a surface. Metallic foils work best.
Debossing:
Impressing an image as deep as possible into a product, using heat and a metal block.
Embossing:
Often confused with debossing. Using two fitting dies to force the material into a raised image usually on card.
Screen printing:
Forcing ink through a stencil to create a direct Pantone matched image on the product surface.
Litho printing - traditional:
Traditional printing in spot colours or a cmyk mix on flat sheets of paper or light card, with high minimum quantities.
Transfer Print:
The image is printed onto a release film and then 'transferred' onto the product. Good for multicolour work on difficult surfaces.
Laser Print:
If a design requires reproduction of a very detailed artwork, a laser is the right solution, if it is suitable for the product.
UV Digital Print:
Direct print onto product surfaces using UV inks, ensuring very high consistent quality.
